Celebrating Isle of Wight produce


17 October 2012

The Red Funnel Cowes Food Shows highlight the very best in local Isle of Wight produce from organically grown tomatoes and oak smoked garlic, to freshly baked artisan bread and delicious dairy ice cream.

Also showcased are talented local chefs and home-cooking experts through the interactive food theatre at each Food Show.

The next Cowes Food Show is on Sunday, 28 October and will have a Halloween theme!
The Show will be open from 1000 to 1700 and admission is free.

The show will include:

• Food Theatre demos from top local chefs and talks from local Isle of Wight producers.

• Competitions including under 12’s – 'Best Pumpkin Carving' and 'The most creative recipe using Pumpkin'.

• Children’s entertainment

Food Theatre Programme - Sunday, 28 October

The Food Theatre will provide displays from some of the Islands top chefs and talks from producers. Those attending on 28 October are now confirmed as follows:

1030 - Isle of Wight Local Food - Intro to the event
1100 -  Four Seasons Cooking Academy
1215 -  Adam Fendyke – (Tramezzini Deli)
1345 -  Robert Thomson (The Hambrough)
1500 -  Oliver Stephens (Priory Bay)
1600 -  The Garlic Farm
