Cowes High Street decorated in Jubilee style

The Cowes Business Association is sponsoring prizes for the 'Best Dressed Jubilee Window' in Cowes this week. In celebration of HM The Queen's Diamond Jubilee in June, shops, cafes and retailers on Cowes High Street have been given the chance to enter a competition to be the 'Best Dressed Jubilee Window'.
Plenty of shops have got involved, decorating their windows with bunting, ballons, flags, flowers, crowns and corgis! Why not pop down and find your favourite Jubilee window! Judging will take place from 1pm tomorrow (Friday, 25th May).
One of our favourite entries in pictured above. Second Nature in Cowes High Street have filled their window with origami sailing boats.
There are plenty of Diamond Jubilee celebrations taking place in Cowes this year.
English Heritage are holding Victorian celebrations at Osborne house over Sunday, 3rd - Tuesday, 5th June.
Cowes clubs have joined together to organise the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Regatta in Cowes.
HM The Queen herself is in fact visiting Cowes as part of her Jubilee Tour in July.
