Tidetech has supplied Cowes.co.uk with an exclusive overview of the tides for the 2012 J.P. Morgan Asset Management Round the Island Race - the only place you can get the inside track on where the water is moving!
The Tidetech overview of the tides covers the start, the Needles Channel, Needles to St Catherine’s Point and Dunnose Point, Dunnose Point to the Forts, and Forts to the finish.
The information and images are taken from Tidetech’s Solent model GRIB files. Subscriptions are available for both GRIB files (to be used in tactical navigation software) and OceanView (online viewer and PDF generator).
Tidetech is a technical supplier to the 2011-12 Volvo Ocean Race and the 34th America’s Cup.
