Final day of Cowes Week 2012

Aberdeen Asset Management Cowes Week 2012 looks set to end on a high with sun and a good sailing breeze, followed by the overall prize giving, which is open to everyone, and will be held at the Cowes Yacht Haven Events Centre at 1900 on Saturday, 18 August.

Once racing has concluded on Saturday, 18 August, competitors will make their way to the Events Centre in Cowes Yacht Haven for the overall prizegiving, compered by Cowes Radio’s Dick Johnson.

Trophies that will be presented at the overall prize giving include:

The Aberdeen Asset Management Overall Winner Trophy, awarded to the winning boat of the whole regatta.

Overall Black and White Group trophies, and overall class trophies.

The new Aberdeen Asset Management Under 25 Trophy.

Young Skipper’s Trophy.

For those still in party mode after eight days of racing there is still plenty of entertainment scheduled for Saturday evening including live music from Switch and Cornerstone in Cowes Yacht Haven running until 2330. Cowes Parade will also be in full swing with live music from The Savage Kallis, Derek Sandy Trio, and Soul Lounge.
