J Class Regatta 2012

J Class REGATTA - SOLENT
18th -21st July 2012
The Solent Regatta will be hosted by the The Royal Southampton Yacht Club (RSYC) in 2012. The Solent was the traditional home of J Class racing in the UK during the 1930s. Three races are planned, one starting in the Western Solent and around Christchurch bay. One starting in the eastern Solent and into Hayling Bay, and a third in the central Solent.
The Fleet will all be based together at Solent Refit, Hythe, the only deep water facility which can berth up to eight J Class yachts, each around 140 feet overall and drawing 16 feet.

Wednesday 18th July : Solent based race - 20 nm Start 10.00
Thursday 19th July : Solent based race - 20 nm Start 10.00
Friday 20th July : Solent based race - 20 nm Start 10.00
