The Little Britain Challenge Cup is the annual private sailing regatta for the construction industry. Since the first event in 1988, the Little Britain Challenge Cup has grown from 3 to 250 entries and to include more than 3000 competitors, making it the biggest regatta in the UK after Cowes Week.
Taking place this year during 8th - 11th September, the event will take place in Cowes, with most of the entertainment being on offer at Cowes Yacht Haven.
Entries for the regatta are still being accepted. If you wish to enter, fill out the
online entry form via the Little Britain Challenge Cup website.
The regatta will provide daily entertainment at the Cowes Yacht Haven with live music and dancing every evening after racing.
Friday night is the ever-popular theme night which is again sponsored by HVAC and Gardner & Co. with this year's theme being 'Viva Las Vegas'. There will be a whole host of entertainment including 'The Elvis Experience', a Sinatra tribute and the live set by 'May Contain Nuts.'
Saturday night plays host to the more formal events with a sit-down dinner for 450 people in the Event Centre.
