VESTAS Sailrocket 2 prepares for first sail

The VSR2 team and the East Cowes built VESTAS Sailrocket 2 are currently on location at the Walvis Bay Yacht Club in Namibia.
VESTAS Sailrocket 2 is rigged and ready for her first gentle outing. The wind has been pretty light so the team is using their time to work through the job list in preparation for what is to come.
The plan is to do a couple of introductory days to bring everyone up to speed with their respective roles in handling the boat. However, we are also aware that sometimes it just blows and we are thrown straight in the deep end!
