1. Are you up to speed with the 2010 racing mark changes in the Solent?

Here, courtesy of Cowes Online, you can download the waypoints for the Solent's Buoys and Racing Marks used by SCRA and Cowes Week - including all the new names of renamed buoys.

Use the download link at the bottom of the page to download the zipped folder of useful files. Formats include files for Garmin, Magellan, and Raymarine along with the universal GPX format, .csv and .txt files. Also included is a PDF with the 2009 two-digit codes, names, colours, and positions of the marks.

There is even a .kmz file so you can import the buoy names and positions into Google Earth!

NOTE:
1. All positions are referenced to WG584 datum but should be assumed to be approximate.
