It might still be October but plans are in place to kick start the festive season in Cowes.

Discover amazing gift ideas and everything Christmas in our retail stores on the charming High Street lined with boutiques and independent shops offering toys, books, homeware, art, antiques, fashion, wine, jewellery and more.

Festive drinks and nibbles will be on offer at many of the lovely, independent shops. You can even make it an evening out and have a drink and a bite to eat at many of the fantastic local pubs and restaurants along the High Street.

The High Street will be decorated with Christmas Lights and Christmas trees and street entertainers will get you in the Christmas mood with seasonal songs.

For visitors arriving by car, Cowes Town Council are providing free car parking between 4pm and 9pm for late-night shoppers on 16 November and 7 December and if you’re on the mainland, Red Funnel is offering a special discount. Just 28 minutes from Southampton to West Cowes on the Hi-Speed Red Jet service. Make a day of it with regular Red Jet sailings to Cowes, and a late crossing back to the mainland at 2345 daily.
