Notice is hereby given that the Cowes Chain Ferry will be out of service to undergo repair operations on Friday 03 May 2024.

The Cowes Chain Ferry will be taken out of service on Friday 3 May at around 0800hrs and will return to service at around 1400hrs. During this time, the Chain Ferry will be moored on the East Slipway but may transit to the West for test periods.

A passenger only service will be in place for the duration of the work.

All mariners are advised to navigate in the area with caution, and to avoid creating wash in the vicinity of the Cowes Chain Ferry.

This local notice to mariners will self-cancel at 2359 on 03 May 2024.
