Training Pontoon – New Position

Notice is hereby given that the training pontoon has been moved to position 50°44.402’N 001°17.225’W.



The training pontoon is available for all vessels to practice berthing manoeuvres ONLY and not for mooring. The pontoon is secured by anchors rather than piles, so it is less stable than other pontoons. Crews are discouraged from landing on the pontoon except in emergency, and then only with great care.

This local notice to mariners will remain in force until further notice.
