Notice is hereby given that the event moorings for 2025 are in the process of being deployed in Cowes Harbour.  The event moorings are located North of Cowes Breakwater and West of the Harbour entrance.    Each row is marked with multiple unlit mooring buoys of various sizes, some with strops that extend from the mooring buoy itself.

The moorings North of Cowes Breakwater, referred to as J Row (Northern most row and marked with a large yellow buoy in position 50^o 46.155’N, 001^o 17.253’W) and the Day Class moorings, are located in the box marked on the chartlet below:

The moorings West of the Harbour entrance, referred to as M Row, are located from Egypt Point to the Royal Yacht Squadron. The Western limit of the M Row moorings is 50°46.1’N 001°18.8’W, and the Eastern limit is 50°46.1’N 001°18.1’W.

All mariners are advised to navigate with caution in the vicinity of Cowes Breakwater, the Outer Harbour and M Row and must not cut between the rows.

The event moorings remain in place until around 12 September 2025.

This local notice to mariners will remain in force until further notice.
