Notice is hereby given that the RORC De Guingand Race will be taking part in Cowes and the Solent on Saturday 17 May 2025. The race will continue for approximately 24-36 hours depending on weather conditions during the race.  

Approximately 70 yachts involving 500 participants are expected to take part, ranging from 9 to 22m in length and including cruising and racing yachts.  

The race will start at 0900 from the Royal Yacht Squadron Start Line. The course for the De Guingand Race takes the fleet from Cowes eastwards out of the Solent and then on a course in the English Channel before returning to the Solent.
