An application has been received for a maintenance dredge licence at the Wight Shipyard, Venture Quays site. 

Location:
Wight Shipyard, Venture Quays, Columbine Building, Castle Street, East Cowes, Isle of Wight, PO32 6EZ.

Description of the Proposed Work:
The area to be dredged includes the existing pontoon berthing area. The amount of spoil dredge material to be removed in 2021 is approximately 4,000 cubic metres. The work is planned to commence in February 2021 and to be completed by the end of March 2021. A MMO licence is already in place and is valid until 1st January 2024.

Cowes Harbour Commission has not raised comments or objections to the Marine Management Organisation licence.
