As a Trust Port, Cowes Harbour Commission has traditionally held an Annual Public Meeting to share updates with our stakeholders on the organisation’s performance over the previous financial year.

In recent years, attendance at these meetings has been very limited, with fewer than 10 people in attendance. While we understand that attending in-person events isn’t always possible, we remain committed to open communication and believe it is important to share progress against the objectives outlined in our Five Year Strategic Plan.

In line with the Department for Transport’s Ports Good Governance Guidance, which encourages effective and inclusive stakeholder engagement, we have chosen to take a more accessible and sustainable approach again for 2024. Instead of holding a physical meeting, we have produced a short video presentation that highlights key achievements and developments from 2024. This can be viewed at your convenience and is designed to encourage broader engagement across our community and stakeholder base.

To complement the video, we have also published a digital version of our full 2024 Annual Report. This supports our ongoing efforts to reduce environmental impact by minimising printing and distribution.
