Notice is hereby given that dredging operations will be commencing within Cowes Harbour. The dredging will take place in area off East Cowes Esplanade. The dredging operations will commence on Friday 10 October and the programme is expected to take approx. 16 weeks.

The dredge area is to the East of the Main Fairway and to the South of Eastern Channel, as depicted below.

The dredger and barges will be working 24hrs per day on a tidal basis. Noise and light disturbance will be minimised during night hours.

All craft associated with this project will display the lights and shapes, as prescribed by the COLREGs. The craft will be monitoring VHF 69 whilst working and make ‘all ships’ calls before entering and departing the harbour.
