JOG – Solent Lonely Forts Yacht Race

Local Notice to Mariners No. 06(T) of 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Solent Lonely Forts Yacht Race will start from Cowes on Saturday 21 March 2026 at 1000.

Approximately 100 yachts are expected to take part in the race. Vessels are expected to muster in the vicinity of the Prince Consort Buoy from 0930. The course will be from the Prince Consort buoy heading east, sailing through The Forts, around the Nab Tower, heading west towards the Winner,  back through The Forts, finishing south of the Prince Consort buoy.

The race is expected to be complete by 1600.
