LNTM - 05/08/26

Notice is hereby given jointly by the ABP Southampton Harbour Master and Cowes Harbour Masterthat there will be a flying display by the Royal Navy Display Team on Thursday 6 August 2026. The display will take place off Cowes Green between 1910 and 1936.

A Marine Exclusion Zone (MEZ) will be in place from 1900 until 2 clear minutes after the display has ended (see Figure 1). The MEZ will be marshalled by CHC and ABP Southampton assets. During these times, no vessels will be allowed to enter the MEZ.

When the MEZ is in force, the main fairway will be closed to navigation. A broadcast will be made on VHF Ch 69 15 minutes prior to advise of the closure, immediately before and upon completion of the display.

All mariners are required to keep clear of the MEZ during the times stated above and are advised to keep a listening watch on VHF Ch 69.

This local notice to mariners will be self-cancelling at 2359 on 7 August 2026.
