Cowes Harbour Commission’s Chief Executive, Gary Hall, had the honour of meeting HRH The Princess Royal and Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence during their visit to Victoria Barracks at UKSA on Monday.

The visit formed part of a wider programme of engagements on the Isle of Wight, including the official opening of the new Victoria Barracks Education Centre at UKSA by The Princess Royal in her capacity as Patron of the United Kingdom Sailing Academy.

During the visit, Gary took the opportunity to showcase Cowes Harbour Commission’s plans for the new Cowes Harbour Marina development in East Cowes. The project represents a significant investment in the future of the harbour and is expected to enhance facilities for boat owners and visiting vessels while supporting the local economy and maritime sector.

The proposed marina will provide modern walk-ashore berthing facilities and further strengthen Cowes’ reputation as one of the UK’s leading sailing destinations.
