Cowes Harbour Commission (CHC) welcomed its annual mooring holders to its first Annual Mooring Holder Reception at The Sugar Store, Shepards Marina, on Saturday 26 September.

Held during the afternoon, the reception provided an opportunity for mooring holders to meet members of the CHC team, enjoy refreshments and connect with fellow boat owners from across the Medina.

The event was also an opportunity for CHC to hear directly from its mooring holders, with guests invited to share their views, suggestions and ideas for the future of Cowes Harbour.

Feedback covered a wide range of topics, including harbour facilities, services, communications, events and future initiatives. There were also many positive comments about CHC’s friendly and helpful team, the harbour’s location, value for money and the strong sense of community around Cowes Harbour.

The afternoon also provided an opportunity to introduce Harbour Plus, CHC’s new loyalty scheme, which will launch in 2027 and provide a range of exclusive benefits across CHC services.

The Annual Mooring Holder Reception is intended to become a regular fixture in the CHC calendar, providing an opportunity each year to bring the mooring holder community together, share ideas and continue an open dialogue between customers and the harbour team.

The event marked the first Annual Mooring Holder Reception hosted by Cowes Harbour Commission and provided a positive start to what CHC hopes will become an annual opportunity to celebrate and strengthen the Cowes Harbour community.
