There are two job vacancies open with Cowes Harbour Commission, for a Seasonal Marina Operative and a Seasonal Patrol Officer. 

Seasonal Marina Operative 
Shepards Wharf Marina is looking for someone with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude, who can assist in all aspects of marina operations throughout the summer season. This challenging position requires you to work as part of a close-knit team and as an individual for certain tasks. This is an exciting role for someone who would like to gain more experience in marina organisation, problem solving, customer service and hands on maintenance. The ideal candidate will already have some proven experience in the marine industry but be keen to develop their skills in these areas. 

Seasonal Patrol Officer 
Cowes Harbour Commission Patrol Officers ensure the efficient and safe management of the Harbour Authority’s mooring facilities and area of jurisdiction. As a Seasonal Patrol Officer you will provide an initial point of contact for visiting vessels and supervise the provision of harbour moorings during the summer months. You are often the first point of contact for visitors and a courteous and helpful manner should be maintained at all times. For day-to-day duties and operations you will be guided by one of the senior Patrol Officers who will be your first reporting point for operational matters.
