Entries open for 30th Little Britain Challenge Cup

Great sailing and networking is promised this September when the 30th annual Little Britain Challenge Cup (LBCC) gets underway at Shepards Wharf Marina in Cowes, Isle of Wight. Entries are open for the property and construction industry’s 2017 sailing regatta, which is expected to attract over 60 companies and more than 750 crew.

The 2017 event is taking place on Friday 15th and Saturday 16th September and is being hosted by Shepards Wharf Marina, which has its own dedicated events venue – The Sugar Store, where festival-style onshore events will be hosted across the two days. The racing programme is being organised by The Island Sailing Club, which organises the Round the Island Race.

LBCC Chairman and Marketing Director of Domus, David Kong, said: “Forty-two companies have already registered, so don’t delay in securing your place. For our 30th year, we’ve changed the venue and the format so there’ll be more variety for the novice and experienced sailor alike, and more socialising and networking too. As always, we’re also hoping to make as much money for charity as we can.”

Entries can be submitted online (www.littlebritain.co.uk) or forms can be downloaded and submitted from the site. Any information you need about the event is also available on the event website.
