There are exciting changes taking place at Shepards Wharf Marina for this year’s Lendy Cowes Week regatta with a new event partner and the site rebranded as ‘Cowes at Shepards’.

To kick-start the week, we would like to invite all Cowes Harbour Moorings customers to join us at our ‘Cowes at Shepards’ opening party from 7pm on Friday evening, 28th July. Drinks promotions will be available throughout the evening. We look forward to welcoming you there on the night! 

‘Cowes at Shepards’ will be the venue where regatta competitors and all visiting yachtsmen can socialise in a smaller, more intimate, up-market and club type environment. We will be open from morning till late providing the go-to venue for refreshments, entertainment and relaxation throughout the regatta. Delicious food will be served from breakfast through to dinner with late night snacks on offer too.

Shepards is renowned as the place to go for après racing drinks and this year there will be three bars to choose from! A new VIP Pier Bar will be situated on the Shepards Wharf Pier with some of the best views of the harbour; The Sugar Store will be open during the day and also into the evening as our regatta nightclub, with the main Yard Bar open all day at the heart of the site.

Worried about missing out on the action, or seeing the replays of the racing? Cowes TV, the regatta’s TV station, will once again be back at Shepards Wharf, so you can look forward to enjoying refreshments whilst keeping up-to-date with all of the on-water action and those all important results!

There is even going to be a dedicated water taxi drop-off point at the heart of Shepards Wharf Marina (courtesy of Cowes Water Taxis) , so that those moored in the harbour and on the river can more easily get to enjoy what’s on offer at the Marina, one of the official Lendy Cowes Week affiliate venues. 

Don’t worry about how to fill your time when you’re not out on the water, we are busy planning a whole host of great activities for ‘Cowes at Shepards’ including live music, DJs, daytime activities and much, much more.
