Sax, Sunsets and Sailing at the North Sails Competitors Party

The Sugar Store at Shepards Marina provided the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable evening as Cowes Harbour Commission welcomed competitors, guests and organisers to the North Sails Cowes Week Competitors Party.

With the sun setting over the harbour, the evening got off to a spectacular start as a saxophonist arrived by RIB before stepping ashore to entertain the crowd and set the tone for a fantastic night of celebration.

The event brought together sailors, supporters and friends from across the regatta, offering a chance to relax and reflect on another exciting day of racing during the bicentenary edition of North Sails Cowes Week 2026. This year’s event marks 200 years of one of the world’s most iconic sailing regattas, attracting thousands of competitors and spectators to Cowes throughout the week.

Guests enjoyed a vibrant atmosphere at the waterfront venue, with live music, great company and stunning views across the Solent as daylight faded into a memorable Cowes Week evening.

Cowes Harbour Commission was delighted to host the event at the Sugar Store, showcasing one of Cowes’ premier waterfront venues and supporting the packed programme of shoreside activities that make Cowes Week such a unique celebration both on and off the water.

As North Sails Cowes Week 2026 continues, the harbour remains at the heart of the action, welcoming competitors, visitors and maritime enthusiasts from around the world to enjoy this landmark anniversary event.
