Tall Ship Morgenster Adds Maritime Magic to Cowes Waterfront

Cowes has welcomed another magnificent tall ship to its waterfront, with the impressive Morgenster arriving over the weekend and settling alongside Trinity Landing for a few nights.

With her towering masts, traditional rigging and distinctive sailing-ship profile, Morgenster makes an impressive sight on the River Medina and provides a wonderful reminder of Cowes’ enduring connection with sailing and maritime heritage.

Trinity Landing is a popular arrival point for tall ships, superyachts and visiting vessels, offering a prominent position in the heart of Cowes and creating a spectacular backdrop for those enjoying the waterfront.

Morgenster is a traditional Dutch brig with a rich sailing heritage and is now used for sailing adventures and voyages, offering guests the opportunity to experience life aboard a tall ship and get involved with traditional seamanship.

Her visit comes during another busy period for Cowes Harbour, with a packed events calendar bringing a wide variety of vessels and visitors to the town throughout the summer.
